David Beckham…

…sounds like a pansy.

I’ve never heard him talk before. Now that I have,

I’m completely offended. lol

His voice does not match his face/image.

Today’s Clinical Practicum…

..went inexplicably well. It was the first day of grad school that I actually enjoyed, too. I think things are going to get a little brighter from here. :)

but, there’s still 93 days left in the semester.

First week of Clinical Practicum down…

…and 13 looooong weeks to go. Heaven, help me.

I’m eager to learn and experience new things. But man, oh, man. I didn’t really know what I was in for when I signed up for my Master’s. It’s worse than everyone told me. *insert nervous laughter*

Back to School: Doin’ a New Thang!

18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland*.

Isaiah 43:18-19

I start grad school this week. I’ve had a few restless nights because of dreams about how intense it’s going to be. Afraid? Not quite. Very concerned? Yes.

I was thinking “Do I have what it takes to get through this program?” Then I was reminded of one thing: I NEVER had what it took to get into the program. lol I never had what it took to get into my program in undergrad school (initially, I was waitlisted). I never had what it took to get out of the program in undergrad (But my professor gave me the obscure 72.0326% [or whatever the number was] final exam score that I needed to pass the course). I didn’t even meet all of the requirements to get into my graduate school. But God showed me his favor. All of that said…

Surely, I don’t have what it takes to get through graduate school. But He has everything that I’ll need. As long as I do the best that I can and keep the faith, He’ll continue

doing new things in me…

making a way for me in the wilderness…

and creating rivers in my wasteland.

*I reckon NEEDTOBREATHE is a fan of this verse, too. ;)

My coworker shoved me…

…and I can’t tell if it was a “You go first.”  or a “Get out of my way!” shove. lol

I almost bucked at him, but then I remembered where I was and stood down. lol
